About Daniel
Hey there I am Dan Swift the President of TSG Real Estate. Originally from Philadelphia (fly Eagles fly) I spent a couple decades on the west coast before making South Carolina my home. I have been in real estate for over 20 years in two states and have found it to be an amazingly rewarding career.
Being from a family where homeownership is not common I have focused my career on helping folks become homeowners for the first time. There are few things as joyful as handing someone the keys to their very first home and knowing you have helped them on the path to building real wealth.
Whether you're an agent or a client of ours I am always happy to help feel free to reach out to me with any questions you have.
Now some random facts that fill out a bio:
I have two degrees, one in Political Science one in Philosophy from Sacramento State (go Hornets, bet you didn't know my alma mater's mascot)
While in college I worked for Congressman Duncan Hunter Sr which allowed me to meet all sorts of interesting folks from congressman Newt Gingrich to Ross Perot.
Before I got into real estate I worked in corporate finance.
I am happily married to Sherry whom I own TSG with.
I have two awesome step kids and even better two amazing grandchildren.
I have a rescue pit princess named Diamond, she's getting up there in years but still can get moving when that treat bag is shaking (she totally gets that from her dad).
My favorite food is pizza (who doesn't like pizza) and my favorite drink is bourbon and I am becoming increasingly partial to Woodford Reserve if my secret Santa is reading this, or really anyone who wants to buy me a bottle of bourbon.
My favorite local places to eat include Oscars (that she crab soup and seafood burrito), Derek's (literally the best gyro I have ever had and he's making that magic out of the back of a produce stand) Montreux (chicken and waffle sliders and onion rings followed by a long nap) to name a few.
I have had the privilege of sitting on a number of non profit boards and really make an effort to contribute to my community.
My favorite bible verse is 2 Timothy 4:7
